Victoria Smith: Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse

Victoria trained at the Royal Veterinary College, where she studied for her FdSc in Veterinary nursing. During her training she spent a year working at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals where she learnt a variety of specialist skills.

Since qualifying in 2015 she has travelled the country working in a variety of different practices as a locum nurse before starting as the Senior Nurse at our Mayow Veterinary Surgery. While working as a locum she discovered her passion for emergency and critical care working in a variety of emergency clinics across the UK.

She also has a keen interest in nurse consults and has a history of running diabetic, weight management, senior pet care and exotic nurse consultations.

Outside of work Victoria enjoys Cross country running with her dog and training for triathlons.
