Sian Skipsey: Trainee Veterinary Nurse

After leaving school Sian attended college and studied Animal Care and Animal Management. Whist at college she worked at her local veterinary
surgery as a Saturday receptionist. Sian joined Mayow Veterinary
Surgery in April 2013 as a student veterinary nurse.

She will be attending college in September to study for her diploma in Veterinary Nursing. 

Sian enjoys spending time with her family and friends and caring for her two dogs Riley and Gracie and her three cats Toffee, Treacle and Tilly.

Hannah, Registered Veterinary Surgery

Hannah Qualified as a Registered Veterinary nurse in 2013, where she worked in a small private clinic for 8 years.

She took a short career break in 2016 to become a 999 call handler, since then she has joined our surgery as a receptionist/ float RVN as she missed the veterinary environment and nursing. 

She has a keen interest in medical nursing cases such as diabetic patients and when she isn’t busy at work she is looking after her Jack Russell Daisy.


  • Mon - Fri: 8.30am - 6.30pm
  • Saturdays: 8.30am - 12pm
  • Sundays: 10am -4pm
